Fine dining at a 5-star hotel in the Golden Triangle sure is a big treat for me. My colleague asked me to take some pix of the LiteFM Dial & Dine event and the perk was I get to eat for free with my guest, Wendy. :)
The place was classy and classic. The hotel car park was rather unexpectedly dodgy. The food was fantastic. Its a really suitable place for celebrations, romantic candle light dinner (there were no candles that day) or any other daily dinner for the rich and famous.
These are some pictures of the day.
My guest.
The starter bread which came with a chili dip and an olive oil vinegar dip. Simply yummy!
A winner's adorable daughter. She was really obedient - she didnt make a sound.
The little girl's father when he talked to the LiteFM breakfast DJ, Sara Lo.
The appetiser soup, Zuppa di Funghi (Cream of field mushroom). Sluuurrrp!
Sara Lo, the LiteFM Breakfast DJ signing an autograph.
The main course, Steam sea bass. Baby potato. Fennel salad & Salsa verde. Another scrumptious delight!
The open kitchen concept that Prego is known for. This is the view from upstairs. See, they're preparing dessert.

My colleague, Kerwin, talks to some winners.
A sweet end to the 4 course meal - Hazelnut ice-cream bar. Rich and chocolatey!

A Q&A session with the Chef who will conduct a cooking class for the winning recipients.

Chin Yee willingly posed for my reflection shot. :) She's so photogenic!
A secret room we found behind some curtains. It's such a glamourous place. Probably reserved for the rich and famous as it was decorated with wine bottles and there was a huge mirror wall.
