Unabashed Shoot 20 Sept 2008

The shoot for the local band, Unabashed, proved to be an extremely hot experience. The day was super sunny and it was hot, hot, hot all the way (including all the guys in the band! :p). Nonetheless, did some experiment on CLS again and framing of wide open spaces. Here are some edited and unedited ones. Can you spot the difference?

2 flash fired from 45 degrees left and right, with high aperture to create the night look.

May & Kevin @ Sg. Congkak, Hulu Langat

It was yet another exciting day shooting May & Kevin, this time in the cold waters of Sg. Congkak. Weather was kind and not so sunny and the waters were wonderfully inviting when we took on the rapids and brave the gushing currents. Her ever photogenic looks and his willing smiles gave the camera a field day. I had fun and sure hope they did too. :)

Date: 21 Sept 2008.

Anthony & Jenny

On 6 September 2008, I had the privilege to capture Anthony and lovely Jenny's wedding in Mandarin Oriental Hotel, KL. Jenny is a Korean and she's absolutely beautiful while Anthony is always smiling throughout the day.

I tried some new angles and here are my favourite portraits of them!

These are some shots of that day...

More to come when I finish the editing work ... :)

Photographying Cars

How should car images be taken? Recently, I was asked to help take some pictures of the new cars in my office.

45 degrees view with a vast background effect,

one with a reflection,

Low angle frontal view, ... and 45 degrees low angle back view.

Instead, they decided to use these instead:

45 degrees frontal view on Sinar:

... and side view on hitz.

Well, I'm just glad they used one of it :)

p/s: car models and number plates have been darken on purpose.
