Pre-wedding workshop with John Ishii

I can't believe it when I got the call from Heritage Station Hotel which told me that I was the 15 shortlisted photographers for the pre-wedding shoot at the hotel, the KTM and Lake Gardens with John Ishii as the moderator and teacher.

Here are some of the photographers:

The day arrived on 10 Aug 2008 on a cloudy Sunday morning. It started early at 7am and most of the participants arrived by then. The class however only started at 8.30am which was interesting as we got to see a slideshow of John's editorial shots. Impressive! He spoked generally about editorial photography and how people tend to misuse the word wedding photojournalist. I wonder if my pictures can qualify in his dictionary of that word...

Anyway, it rained and we ended up shooting around and inside the KTM building plus the Heritage Station Hotel. The hotel has a very historic feel which is great. Creates the right background for the shoot.

As there were 3 couples to shoot, here are some of my fave for couple 1:

Vinon & Jacqueline

And for these, which looks better? Colour or vintage?

Do come back again to see pix of the other 2 couples. :)

Really Nice Series ... I prefer the classic one of Jacq though ... so where's the rest?
