Portraitures: Rain

Last week I had the opportunity to work with Weng Yap Photography (www.wengyapphoto.com) on a studio shoot for HerbalLife distributor, Rain. She's a very sweet and pretty girl and her pictures were stunning! Here are a few of our favourites.

Food photography

Food pictures may betray the actual taste of the food shown but in My Elephant Thai Restaurant in Sec 17, PJ, this is not true. The food is as good as it looks (I hope I gave them justice with the pictures I've taken here). Sadly, I can't recall the names of the food we had but here's a little description of them:

Fruit taufu in curry. Yums!

Omelette..another yums!

The spicy tom yam soup which had a good mix of herbs.

Green curry chicken. Very thick with coconut milk & curry; and absolutley scrumptious.

Paku or kangkung belacan. Yummy as well! Spicy enough and the vege was young and fresh.

Brown rice. Very tasty rice!

Do visit the restaurant when you have the opportunity and bookings are a must!

Milk, Glorious Milk!

Milk is nutritious!

It is the first thing a newborn is fed with and also the best thing to feed our bones with to prevent osteoperosis and now we even have milk that can lower cholestrol e.g. Nesvita Omega milk has been proven to lower 36% of cholestrol after a month of daily consumption.

Milk these days comes in all sorts of flavours and even soya bean drinks now comes in the form of soy milk.

As chocolate flavour is my all time favourite flavour for anything, chocolate milk is the best! It's rich, its yummy & it's healthy! What other healthy food can taste this good?!

Last year, World Milk Day became a known event in Malaysia because Dutch Lady did a promo on it and now Tetra Pak is having a promo on World Osteoporosis Day. Cool eh? What other day would we have in the future?

LiteFM Dial & Dine @ Prego, The Westin KL (9 May 2009)

Fine dining at a 5-star hotel in the Golden Triangle sure is a big treat for me. My colleague asked me to take some pix of the LiteFM Dial & Dine event and the perk was I get to eat for free with my guest, Wendy. :)

The place was classy and classic. The hotel car park was rather unexpectedly dodgy. The food was fantastic. Its a really suitable place for celebrations, romantic candle light dinner (there were no candles that day) or any other daily dinner for the rich and famous.

A secret room we found behind some curtains. It's such a glamourous place. Probably reserved for the rich and famous as it was decorated with wine bottles and there was a huge mirror wall.

Baby Kelly (Mac 2009)

Allan's sister-in-law just delivered a healthy baby girl named Kelly last March 2009 and we took some pictures of her when she was only 1 month old. The baby is photogenic and adorable in every angle.

Allan sure can take beautiful baby pictures... :) Here are some of our favourites:

Wolverine & Lara Croft

It was a pleasure working with Ern Yi & Kim as they got all dressed up as Wolverine & Lara Croft for a portfolio shoot in Taman Tun. I didn't know that cosplay costumes were all custom made and Kim did a lot of them herself - the wolverine blades, the toy pistol, the belt and she is also in the midst of making a Sherra shield costume. Amazing!

It was a blast shooting Ern Yi & Kim as they are great cosplay actors, and the mosquito invasion didn't deter them from keeping to their role.
